About Us

Our silence is killing us

There is a war on women and it is bigger than state and national politics. There’s a war on women and it is being waged from within and without, internally and externally, spiritually and physically. There’s a war on women and our secret weapon is our voice. Our voice, an instrument of creation, boundary setting, of defense.

Our silence is killing us

When we listen to our soul’s voice,we start on a path where the end is not clear. Yet we are impelled to continue on that path. That path is often dark and cluttered with debris. Yet, we keep moving forward as we follow the call.

The war on women is really a war on humanity because without the feminine there is no humanity, there is no life.

The arts are within us all. Its energy is that of the divine feminine and cultivating this energy is what will make our individual, collective and global voices strong, strong enough to end the war.

According to the World Health Organization physical or sexual acts of violence affect more than thirty percent of the 3,552,411,239 women in the world. That’s more than one billion women ages fifteen to forty- nine years old.

Furthermore gender based violence against women as defined by the United Nations, is most prevalent and is perpetrated by intimate  partners…those closest to us.

Our silence is killing us

When we work through the arts we bypass our ego and connect directly with the spiritual and emotional power of our soul’s voice which we can then use to create harmony with our thinking, logical and physical selves.FLOWING CREATIVITY, EXPRESSION, COLOR is the NEW face of power and influence which changes the world.

Our silence is killing us

In war you lose your soul. Only the victor’s voice is heard.

The loss of a woman’s voice is a loss of a piece of our collective Soul

The Art of Women Foundation works to break the silence through its dedication to the arts and women from all walks of life.
